How I Discovered The Secret Of Staying Put On The First Page
So, you’ve come as far writing your article, you’ve done your keyword research, put the keyword in your title and in your content numerous times, made a bid for the first page of Google and you actually got their. Yippee.
It truly is an amazing feeling, when a newbie comes on and finally get’s onto the the first page of Google, for some it’s euphoric. I know it was the greatest feeling for me.
Then something happened…

The reason you aren’t able to stay on the front page is because you don’t have enough links coming in to your content.
When someone links to your website Google takes that as a vote for your content and regards it as more relevant than all the others. That’s the reason your content is placed on the front page and then starts to fall off. Google and the other search engines think your content isn’t relevant enough because it isn’t getting enough votes from users.
How To Use A Sneaky Trick That I Discovered
Now for my sneaky trick, this little bit of knowledge has made all the difference for me and I hope you take it away and start implementing yourself.
A fantastically easy way to get links from authority sites is to give yourself the vote. In the resource box of your article simply put in the link to your original article and submit it to other high PR (Page Rank) article directories.
A quick example-Say you have an article that you just wrote and you just submitted it to EzineArticles.com and you saw it rank on the second page you would then change the resource box and submit to another high PR article directory like GoArticle, Articlesbase etc. Those are high quality links.
I tested this with some of the articles, that dropped off on me earlier and the results were astounding. I was able to get my content back to the first page.
That was just by submitting to about 10 high PR article directories. Imagine submitting to a few hundred. I stopped imagining and did just that with a handy piece of software I have.
And that, my friends is it. If you want an even better chance at staying on the first page of Google then link from other places and go backlink crazy. But if you’re a newbie then just stick with what I outlined above for now.
