Internet has already become one of the most popular sources of information and intercommunication between people. It appeared in 1991 and was the long-awaited project, because the first information about the system resembling Internet had been found in the middle 1960’s. However, it was impossible to implement the idea at that time because of the lack of technical facilities. People were talking about informational network, but they could not even imagine, how difficult it was to create a network, when there were no computers available. The first model of a computer was just being worked out and people could not even imagine that one day they would have a computer at home, using it for their personal needs. The rapid development of computer technologies began in the middle 1980’s, when the development of computers reached its flourishing. People could finally think of purchasing computers, although it was still too expensive. Big corporations and companies were buying computers for their needs, because they could really make the production more effective and faster. Workers of those companies used computers to store information and to process it. But the greatest period in the history of computers began at the dawn of 1990’s, when Internet appeared, bringing in new opportunities and possibilities with it. People adored Internet from the very beginning, because they got the opportunity to communicate with people from different corners of the globe. It was incredible for that time and people literally grasped it, trying to change their lives and make them more qualitative with Internet. Apart from this, people got the opportunity to find any piece of information they needed, be that a book or an old newspaper. Internet contained all periodicals and sources, which could be needed. People did not have to spend hours and hours in libraries in search of the information and they did not have to spend much money on the books, which could only be bought in expensive bookstores. Internet changed the world and people’s attitude to things, but the greatest thing it introduced was the numerous job opportunities.
The term of Internet marketing appeared soon after the introduction of the Internet as a system. Firstly, people did not understand how they could work on the web and get money for this, but with the development of the term and the growth of its popularity, people began to take up jobs on the Internet and were fully satisfied by the result. The greatest difference between the real jobs and jobs on the web lied in salaries and wages. They were incredibly high comparing to those, paid at real jobs and people liked that. Internet marketing became very popular and remained the most asked-for job opportunity of the beginning of the 21 century.
