Adding value has become fashionable in business particularly since the 1980s. Network marketing is no different.
When you have a prospect’s ear, the appeal to construct up the image of your business and endorse the goods is gigantic but this will put at risk your chances of creating a affiliation with your prospect. Want to know the greatest way to endorse yourself as an expert? Give the prospect something of value in the form of a report. It doesn’t need to be a 100 page report; anything from 1500 words or more is impressive. What you are aiming to do is attract the prospect’s attention and make them want to find out more. Once they have given you their information so you can give them the free reprot then you have lead with value and they turn from mlm lead to contact just like that. Leading with value is a impressive way to make lasting associates.
I remember well the report I received in 2001 about capital building which was so well written it made me want to know more about it immediately. It was not the the normal boring “blah blah blah” about how great the company or the products were. Instead, the author actually gave me something of value which made me feel instant respect for him and I looked at him as an expert.
My aim was to construct lasting capital and the tactics revealed in the report was information I could readily use. The interesting thing was it didn’t mention once the use of multi level marketing or MLM companies or even products and rather than being harassed into looking at an opportunity, I was made aware of the importance of creating extra streams of income using various methods.
Basically, the report spoke about past and emerging trends within the biggest spending market ever; the baby boomers and how important it was to position one self within that market. Yes, the report was aimed at getting me interested and follow up for more information but certain aspects of it pushed the right buttons within me. I now put out a report by Ann Seig abot the some of the untruths on mlm called the 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing and it is also free.
Looking at extra information was a no-brainer and the process put me under no pressure at all to make an immediate decision. More importantly, it was a process which was duplicable and one I felt comfortable implementing. It’s amazing how effective using the value-added angle is.
The term over-deliver has become trendy within Internet Marketing and you better believe it is just as effective when used in Network Marketing. So what ways can you think of to over-deliver to your potential downline? Earn their trust and respect and you’re a long way down the track in welcoming them on board as a business associate.
Leading with value is the most important pease of info I can give you. No one likes to be sold but everyone like to buy! Remeber that you are selling and please don’t forget the marketing in Network Marketing!
