The 7 Steps To Internet Marketing Success

Have you achieved all you wanted to achieve in the last 12 months? – Chances are you didn’t know what you wanted to achieve… So in theory my first question may be difficult or even impossible to truthfully answer.

If, like me, you are wanting to build a successful online business then the following 7 steps will help you plan and achieve the success you deserve in the coming 12 months, whether it’s the beginning of a new year or in the middle of January, your New Year’s resolutions start right now!

It’s time to start to make a difference in your life and earn the kind of money online you deserve, so if you’re sat comfortably, let’s take a look at the first step to Internet Marketing success.

1. Give & Ye Shall Receive
If someone had told me many many years ago, this first step, then I would have thought they had gone completely barking mad, but when you first learn to give information away that can truly help others, then they will be more than likely prepared to listen to further tips and advise you can offer them.

By offering to share information with others, without a catch, a clause or the necessity to hand over their credit card details, this pays dividends in ways that you cannot imagine… Although a very simple step, do not underestimate the power of this one, first give and without fail, ye shall receive – Give it a go and see what happens! Moving onto the second step…

2. Have Unshakable Belief
Many people have self doubts about what they are actually capable of achieving. If I said to you that you could earn $1,000,000 over the next 12 months and you had any doubt what-so-ever that you would not achieve that, then you would be right.

But on the other hand, if you had unshakable faith and belief that you would be prepared to work ‘smartly’ and plan for work out ‘how’ you are going to earn your $1,000,000 over the course of the next 12 months, then you will no doubt reach your target.

The point is, it’s all down to how you ‘think’ and this is all down to the belief that you have in yourself

If you have the belief, the will and the persistence to work on your goals, then you will certainly achieve them… The universe works in your favour every time and if you put it out there, you will be rewarded.

So now you know you need to set goals, that brings us onto the next step to Internet Marketing success…

3. Goal Setting
How do you know if you are successful, until you first know what your goals are?

My big tip here is to write down the goals you want to achieve in the next 12 months, no matter how big or small, then place them somewhere, where you can read them everyday and do just that. Write your goals out and read them out, once if not twice a day.

The seed is writing your goals down, you then feed your seeds and watch then grow in the subconscious mind, which then work on ‘ways’ for you to achieve your goals… I’m telling you this, because this stuff works! As they say, don’t knock it until you’ve tried it, don’t give up before you’ve even got started… Write down your goals now, then move onto the next step…

4. Work On Your Internet Business
OK, so you now have your goals written down, you have done that haven’t you… We’ll make a success of you yet! Excellent, next you need to work on your business… What do you mean you have to work!
Listen, no-one said this was going to be easy… Yes, you have to do some work.

If you are wanting to earn a serious income online, then you are gonna have to do some work, there are no two ways about it, but work doesn’t have to be boring, in fact work can be and should be fun.

Putting this article together for me is fun, because I know you will learn lots from it and if you put these steps into place, then you will literally turn your life around, I know because I’ve used the same steps for my own life and I receive emails everyday from customers all around the world, thanking me for what I’ve taught them and how much they have learned from me.

By working on your internet business, means taking your goals and breaking them down into bite-size doable steps and working on each of the steps every day until that goals is complete. If you only have an hour of time free per day, then make sure it is an hour of productive work that will get you a step closer to crossing one of your goals off your list. In fact make a habit of having no more than 2-3 goals on your list at any particular time, which will help you focus even more.

Set yourself an hourly rate of $200 per hour, this will focus your mind to concentrate on IMPORTANT tasks and not time sucking tasks like checking your emails for the umpteenth time or seeing if your stats have changed from 20 minutes ago… This doesn’t help build your business – OK, rant over onto step 5…

5. Build Strong Foundations
Tasks that will help build your business include, increasing your subscriber list, making new products for your customers to benefit from, outsourcing laborious or tedious tasks that suck your time rather than being productive, looking for ways to increase your $/Hr.

You’ve probably heard the phrase ‘The Money Is In The List’, well this is only partly true… The actual correct phrase should be ‘The Money Is In The Relationship You Have With The List’. Build a strong following of subscribers, treat them well and with respect and you will have their undivided attention.

6. Select A Passionate Niche
The Internet Marketing niche, includes a highly passionate group of people… People want to know how to make money or more money online and they are usually more than happy to pay for this information… If you are looking to make money online and you are not marketing to Internet Marketers, then make sure your market is passionate enough to pay for information you could share with them.

People are emotional creatures and by helping people do things faster, cheaper, quicker, easier, smarter, then they are more likely to spend their hard earned money with you. OK, we’ve covered a lot of ground, so let’s take a look at the final step, step number 7…

7. Stop Excusitis
Well I was going to write this article, but then the moon came out and it was dark and cold outside, then the heating broke and my teeth started chattering… OK, I’m making it up, but the point is we can all make excuses, but at the end of the day, excuses do not get us results and if it’s results we are after, then we simply need to eliminate them from our vocabulary.

The word ‘Don’t’ no longer exists! If you are not sure how to do a certain task, either learn or pay someone else to do the task for you… It’s time to stop making excuses, grab the bull by the proverbial horn and to hit the ground running.

The next 12 months are going to be amazing for you, I believe it, now you have to believe it, get out there and start making a difference in your life… This is only the beginning!
